Schedule

Schedule and coordination with the property manager

Weekly or fortnightly cleaning is common; buildings with heavy traffic may need more. Ancillary rooms such as basements or car parks are often cleaned less frequently. We document the scope so that costs can be allocated clearly in the service-charge statement. A typical example:

  • Weekly or fortnightly: Stairwell and entrance
  • Monthly: Basement and laundry room
  • Quarterly: Stairwell windows, car park
  • As needed: Special cleaning, e.g. after moves

Frequently asked questions

Do you also handle the bins?+

Yes, putting bins out and returning them can be added as an extra service.

How often do you clean?+

Weekly or fortnightly is usual. For heavily used buildings, more often.

Who is liable for damage?+

We carry public liability insurance. Damage is reported and settled.

Can the costs be passed on to tenants?+

Under German law, building cleaning costs generally count as allocable operating costs (§ 2 No. 9 BetrKV). We itemise the work so you can allocate it in the statement.

Do you only work for property managers?+

No. We work for property managers, owners’ associations (WEG) and private landlords.

How do residents know when cleaning was done?+

On request we put up a cleaning schedule in the stairwell that is signed off after each visit.
